Hi, my name is Garth.
Named after the singer and showman Garth Brooks. I am well named, because I am full of life, energy, sound, and verve! I am around two years old and am longer-haired, but I do all my own grooming, and am very proud of my beautiful soft coat. I love to play, make (lots of) noise, look for cuddles, and climb trees. I love to be outside, but I don’t understand traffic, so can’t be let out to roam if there is a road nearby. I would suit a forever home either where I get walks on a harness once or twice a day, or where there is a large garden that is well away from roads. My favourite time of day is when I am walked on my harness, as I love to get outside and play, and if I can’t do that, I will let you know with big, full-throated meows. I LOVE kids of all ages, and will go towards them so that I can drop and show my belly for rubs. I love cuddles and getting right into your face to tell you I love you, too! I would be so happy in a house with kids, even toddlers, as I am really gentle and cuddly with them. I also love to play with other cats my age, and would not mind another cat friend.
When I first came to my current fosters, I was very snorky, and sneezed a lot. I still on occasion make huge sneezes, and my nose can run a little bit. If I get really congested, I might need to make a visit to the vet just to check that I am still cleared to climb trees and run around the house.
If you adopt me, you will get a huge ball of fluff, love, and adventure. I am fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and treated for fleas and parasites.
